Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at John Muir Health. As a Licensed Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family counseling services to patients with mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling services to patients with mental health disorders, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist.
  • 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with a focus on individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adolescents or adults with mental health disorders.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
