Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Functional Medicine Physician to join our team at Lake Pleasant Family Medicine. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and whole-body medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of various health conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including mid-levels and medical assistants, to ensure seamless and efficient patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide the highest level of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • MD/DO licensure from an accredited university.
  • Current valid license issued by the state in which you will practice.
  • DEA licensure or ability to obtain DEA licensure.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • A strong sense of ethics and ability to act with integrity.
  • A willingness to be coached and trained by clinicians.
  • A hunger to achieve financial success and independence.
  • A passion for focusing on prevention and whole-body care to take patient care to another level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board certification as Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Certification in Functional Medicine or significant experience/practice in functional medicine.
  • Experience in a fully digitized office supporting one or more of the following: genetic testing, blood testing, oral pathology screening, EKG, and ultrasound technology.
  • Experience overseeing clinical care teams, including mid-levels and medical assistants/scribes to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  • Experience partnering with clinical care teams, including physicians, other APRNs, specialists, medical assistants/scribes to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  • Proficiency working in EPIC EHR.
