Salary InformationWe offer a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you may be eligible for sign-on bonuses in certain specialties, such as Med/Surg ($15,000), Inpatient Rehab ($5,000), and Stepdown ($15,000).
Job DescriptionThe Clinical Nurse Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models.
- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and striving to anticipate patient needs.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and possible side effects.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- An Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- A Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
- No previous experience is needed, but some travel may be required for training.
