Clinical Care Nurse

Job Summary:
LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our staff, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Administer immunizations and injections, provide patient/parent vaccine counseling and education, and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
- Assess patients during intake, take vital signs, perform diagnostic tests, and provide patient registration and intake services.
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for patient care, and help meet our mission to provide excellent patient-focused connections and activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
Licensure/Certifications:
The LPN/LVN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Education:
Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
