Clinical Care Nurse Assistant

Job Summary:
LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Administer immunizations and injections, provide patient/parent vaccine counseling and education, and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
- Assess patients during intake, take vital signs, perform diagnostic tests, and perform Point of Care Testing (including COVID testing).
- Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass the FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
Licensure/Certifications:
The LPN/LVN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Education:
Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
