Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Audio Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative virtual, augmented, and mixed reality technologies. This role is pivotal in transforming auditory experiences for users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the electrical engineering efforts for audio hardware within a collaborative team environment.
2. Design, architect, and troubleshoot circuits integral to the audio signal chain, including codecs, embedded DSPs, amplifiers, and microphones.
3. Own the design and definition of audio systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
4. Create proof-of-concept demonstrations to validate performance and secure stakeholder approval.
5. Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to define performance metrics for emerging technologies.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in audio, wearable, or consumer electronics sectors.
2. Proficient in the design and debugging of both analog and digital circuits.
3. Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE, Audio Precision, OrCAD, or Cadence.
4. Proven experience in leading electrical design from schematic capture to assembly.
5. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with sensor integration and analysis (e.g., IMUs, accelerometers, microphones).
2. Circuit design expertise with microcontrollers and FPGAs.
3. Background in high-speed digital systems debugging.
4. Knowledge of RF technology integration (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS).
