Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Limited X-Ray Tech to join our team at Erasto Gutierrez Md Inc. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures, maintaining the x-ray room, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures with a high level of image quality in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the x-ray room, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Utilize an EMR system to accurately enter patient information, answer phones, and greet patients.
  • Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support medical staff, including updating medical charts, handling consents, and ordering laboratory services.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to ensure proper benefits and billing procedures.
  • Escort patients to their exam rooms and prepare them for examination.
  • Enter physician laboratory orders using the EMR and complete requests matching patient demographics with billing information.
  • Take medical history and record vital signs.
  • Prepare exam rooms and patients for examination, including assisting the provider as needed.
  • Administer injectables/medications to patients as ordered by the provider.
  • Follow standardized procedures for administering injections, emergency protocol, and assisting office procedures.
  • Replenish and restock supplies, ensuring exam rooms are ready for the next patient.
  • Adhere to HIPAA Compliance Regulations to protect patient information.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Graduate of Medical Assistant Program.
  • LIMITED X-RAY PERMIT in TORSO, EXTREMITY, CHEST, and DIGITAL IMAGING.
  • Minimum of 1yr Medical Front and Back office experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.

  • Bilingual or Multilingual
