As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the framing process for single and multi-family homes, ensuring that quality construction is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction Management:
    • Analyze job sites prior to commencement to ensure that quality construction can be achieved.
    • Review construction documents and understand material requirements for building.
    • Frame buildings according to blueprints and specifications.
    • Create and maintain a safe working environment on the job site to protect the interests of the company at all times.
    • Coordinate with the team to ensure timely delivery of materials and labor.
    • Schedule material delivery according to the builder's construction manager schedule.
    • Ensure that laborers frame in compliance with OSHA, builder, and Carter Lumber standards and rules, including cleanliness and safety.
    • Ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure that customers receive the highest quality of workmanship.
    • This is achieved through timely completion of jobs, attention to detail, adherence to the company's code of conduct, and the ability to react to problems and complaints in a patient and understanding manner.
  • Knowledge & Training:
    • Responsible for acquiring training needed to build products safely and efficiently.
    • Responsible for becoming certified in products/areas being installed to ensure that the best service is provided to customers.
