Job Title: Lead Mammography Technologist

At Solis Mammography, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for the daily clinical operations of our assigned centers, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand, promote, and demonstrate the Solis Way
  • Perform mammography and/or assist with biopsies as needed
  • Monitor clinical staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage
  • Provide excellent patient care and communicate procedures and education to new and existing clinical team members
  • Effectively handle patient complaints and escalate as necessary
  • Assist center director in MQSA compliance and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Coordinate service and maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime
  • Act as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information and respond within 24 hours
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and team member information

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Prior experience with RIS/PACS preferred
  • Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program
  • Understands and communicates medical terminology
  • Current, non-restricted licensure in state of work location required
  • Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare industry experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred
