About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team at Solis Mammography. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography and/or assist with biopsies as needed
  • Monitor clinical staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage
  • Provide excellent patient care and communicate procedures to new and existing clinical team members
  • Effectively handle patient complaints and escalate as necessary
  • Assist with MQSA compliance and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Coordinate service and maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime
  • Act as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and team member information
Requirements
  • Current, non-restricted licensure in the state of work location
  • Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare industry experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Exhibits sound judgment and maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations
