Key Responsibilities:

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by efficiently and thoroughly cleaning hotel guest rooms. This role may also involve assisting with laundry services and fulfilling guest requests.


Core Duties:
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of assigned hotel guest rooms or areas, which includes making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing refrigerators and bathrooms, and disposing of trash.
  • Assist with laundry services as needed.
  • Notify the supervisor promptly upon completion of service to allow for room availability.
  • Report any rooms that cannot be serviced to the supervisor.
  • Monitor and manage supplies and amenities, aiming to reduce waste in all housekeeping areas.
  • Log and report all lost and found items according to established protocols.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests.
  • Alert the supervisor to any necessary repairs or unsafe conditions immediately.
