We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Proactive Health Care Medicine - PLLC NY, a leading provider of quality healthcare in the correctional industry.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse with our company, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care to our unique and diverse patient population. You will be responsible for taking and documenting patient history and vital signs, assisting with daily triage and sick call, and initiating and documenting prescribed protocol agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
  • Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
  • Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
