Job Title: Welding Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team at Mt. San Antonio College. As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the safe use of SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW equipment and processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach welding techniques and safety procedures to students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in welding education
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Two years of professional experience in welding or a related field
  • Commitment to teaching and mentoring students
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience teaching welding or a related subject
  • Knowledge of welding industry standards and best practices
