Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As an Adjunct Professor of Welding, you will be responsible for teaching students the safe use of SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach welding techniques and safety protocols to students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in welding education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in welding or a related field
  • Ability to teach effectively to students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience in teaching welding at the community college level
  • Knowledge of welding industry standards and best practices
