Job Title: Licensed Couples and Family Therapist

Thriveworks is a clinician-founded national private practice group with locations in 48 states. We are seeking a Licensed Couples and Family Therapist to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Newport News, VA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Couples and Family Therapist to join our team. As a member of our clinical team, you will work with clients to assess their emotional and psychological needs and develop a treatment plan. You will also have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages and populations, including couples and families.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients individually or as a couple or family to assess their emotional and psychological needs and develop a treatment plan
  • Provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Newport News, VA
  • Work with individuals of all ages and populations, including couples and families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have one of the following independent licenses in Virginia:

  • LCSW or LPC-MH or LPC
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologists (PhD or PsyD)

You must also be comfortable working with individuals of all ages and populations, including couples and families. Experience working within a specialty, such as couples therapy or children, is preferred.
