Overview - Vaco is collaborating with a Chemical firm that is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of invoice processing and the prompt disbursement of payments to vendors. The organization is expanding and provides outstanding benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute accounts payable transactions efficiently.
- Maintain vendor records and 1099 documentation.
- Review vendor statements and reconcile them with vendor balances in Oracle.
- Code invoices and expense reports accurately.
- Guarantee timely and precise payments.
- Process invoices diligently.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices.
- Conduct Month End Close activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable functions.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or an ERP system is required.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate adaptability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general database management.
