Job Summary

Ecolab, a leading provider of premium cleaning and sanitizing solutions, is seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing chemical batches in accordance with standard formulas and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review daily mix schedules and ensure raw materials are available
  • Follow mix instructions and accurately add raw materials to batches
  • Mix batches using variable agitation and perform routine observation to ensure batch quality
  • Report any out-of-spec raw materials, premixes, or mixed batches and consult with Quality personnel
  • Properly clean mix tanks and operate material handling equipment
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Understanding of systems, pumps, and basic Quality Control data
  • Ability to perform basic Quality Control tests and read shipping records
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
