Ecolab, a leading provider of premium cleaning and sanitizing solutions, is seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing chemical batches in accordance with standard formulas and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Review daily mix schedules and ensure raw materials are available
- Follow mix instructions and accurately add raw materials to batches
- Mix batches using variable agitation and perform routine observation to ensure batch quality
- Report any out-of-spec raw materials, premixes, or mixed batches and consult with Quality personnel
- Properly clean mix tanks and operate material handling equipment
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Understanding of systems, pumps, and basic Quality Control data
- Ability to perform basic Quality Control tests and read shipping records
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Previous experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of chemistry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
