Chemical Mixer

Ecolab, a global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services, is seeking a skilled Chemical Mixer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing chemical batches according to standard formulas and procedures.

• Review daily mix schedules and ensure raw materials are available
• Follow mix instructions and accurately add raw materials to mixes manually or using pumps or mixing systems
• Mix batches using variable agitation
• Perform routine observation of product during mixing and filling to ensure batch quality
• Properly clean out all mix tanks
• Operate fork trucks, palletizers, scales, pumps, and other material handling equipment to transport raw materials and finished products
• Perform building and equipment preventative maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work safely and efficiently
• Ability to understand systems, pumps, read meters, basic Quality Control data, and track mixing and quality information
• Ability to perform basic Quality Control tests (take samples, perform pH tests)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to read and match numbers on shipping records, labels, raw materials, and finished goods

• Previous experience working in a chemical and/or manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of chemistry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

This role is based in Huntington, IN, and requires a 3rd shift schedule (11:00 P.M. - 7:30 A.M.). Compensation includes $24.61 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential. Please note that no immigration sponsorship is available for this opportunity.
