- This part-time position requires travel to various employer locations in Grand Rapids for on-site occupational health services. Administrative duties include scheduling, result reporting, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities
">- Facilitate patient flow, prepare patients for visits, and provide medical services as determined by providers.
- Perform administrative tasks, update electronic health records, and maintain equipment.
- Clean work environments, report equipment malfunctions, and communicate with patients and healthcare team members in a respectful manner.
- Collect and monitor patient data, report findings, and document care provided.
- Engage in quality improvement activities to optimize processes, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.
Requirements
">- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program is mandatory.
- 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting is preferred.
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification is required within 120 days.
Compensation
">The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 per year, offering a competitive compensation package for your skills and experience. The position involves variable hours, working Monday through Friday, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
