Job Summary

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining and upgrading computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including PC hardware and software, printers, and other peripherals
  • Maintain and upgrade computer systems and networks, including installing and testing new hardware and software
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems
  • Provide training and technical assistance to end-users
  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and operator problems
  • Perform basic-to-moderate hardware repairs and refer complex, vendor-restricted, and warranty repairs to authorized service personnel
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or technical-related field, or two (2) years' experience with personal computer hardware and software support
  • One (1) year experience with personal computer hardware and software support required
  • A+ Certification, CCNA, MCP, or MCSE, preferred
Working Environment

The work environment is a standard office environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work a standard shift, such as 8:00AM to 4:30PM, as well as a Saturday or Sunday shift.
