Women's and Children's Clinical Information Systems Specialist

Job Summary: As a key member of our team, you will serve as the principal leader and advocate for nursing informatics and clinical technology advancement for inpatient Women's and Children's Health Services. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting the use of technology to optimize nursing work processes, support the delivery of evidence-based care, and monitor nursing practices and associated patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Apply data collection and analysis techniques to support and drive practice advancement updates and sustainment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement clinical information systems that meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to clinical informatics and nursing practice.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on the effective use of clinical information systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of Women's and Children's clinical experience required.
- Clinical Informatics experience preferred.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Professional Certification within 1 year of hire.
