Job Overview

Central City Health is a leading provider of comprehensive behavioral and physical healthcare services, seeking an experienced Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' mental health needs through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS) tests on patients at least quarterly.
  • Analyze patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to assign accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
  • Valid Michigan licensure as a Medical Doctor and eligibility for credentialing.
  • Continuing Education requirements met.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with serious mental illness required; FQHC or community mental health setting preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff and other service providers.
