About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at Gerber Collision & Glass. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute repair work to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition
  • Prepare cost estimates for customers and ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Use various tools and techniques to repair vehicle bodies, including cutting, welding, and painting
  • Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve repair facility KPIs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
  • Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision
  • Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies
  • Ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
