Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Group Facilitator to join our team at ARK Behavioral Health. As a Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in facilitating psychotherapy groups for our Detox/Residential substance abuse treatment facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for clients, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to share their experiences and work through their challenges.
  • Act as a resource for clinical and procedural expertise to other staff members, providing consultation and guidance as needed.
  • Perform psychosocial evaluations and develop treatment plans and interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Document all client-related activities in a timely and professional manner, adhering to agency policy and relevant licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in clinical utilization review and interdisciplinary team sessions to assist in patient assessment, treatment goal development, and discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication, observation, and written skills.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of addiction issues, co-occurring disorders, and the 12-Step Recovery Program.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Alcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual and their family.
  • Experience working with addiction in a residential and/or intensive outpatient milieu.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in drug and alcohol treatment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or human service-related field.
  • CDCA, LMFT, LCDC, LCDC I, LCDC II certifications.
