Role Overview:
SRI Telecom is seeking an Outside Plant Project Coordinator with relevant experience in project coordination to support various cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities and oversee all phases, from design to permitting to construction, for Outside Plant projects, particularly focusing on Comcast. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, effective communication, collaboration, a task-oriented approach, computer proficiency, self-motivation, and the ability to engage in project discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize a Salesforce-based online scheduling tool to manage numerous project tasks.
- Delegate tasks to internal and external teams via Salesforce.
- Track and update tasks for your team while providing progress reports on upcoming assignments.
- Notify your team regarding new task allocations.
- Engage in project discussions and share pertinent updates.
- Assist the construction manager in the field with newly acquired insights.
- Gather updates from the construction manager and refresh tasks in Salesforce.
- Create reports on project milestones, risks, and challenges.
- Support specialists and leadership with project coordination efforts.
- Communicate with all involved teams to facilitate project advancement.
- Manage a multitude of projects using an Excel tracker.
- Handle data within proprietary software.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Essential project management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
- Strong coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter capable of working independently after appropriate training.
- Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software.
- Experience in Outside Plant is advantageous but not mandatory.
