We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Operations Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our plant and equipment, adhering to company, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Work in a safe and orderly manner while in the plant or on company property.
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools, including pressure washers and hand tools.
- Perform procedures for cleaning and sanitizing the plant and equipment to meet company standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisory staff regarding plant sanitation and safety procedures.
- Meet the requirements to perform the essential functions of the Trim and Inspect positions.
- High School diploma or GED and one to three months of training and or related experience to satisfactorily perform the job.
- Possess the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as company rules, equipment instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts with varied starting times as mandated per sanitation schedule.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and work in high and precarious areas of the plant.
