We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health/psychiatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medication, treatments, and coordinate patient activities.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment regimens, management of side effects, and compliance with treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement by NM
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 1 year directly related experience (nonessential)
