  • Monitor and support payment services for key strategic clients in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by gaining a deep understanding of the payment ecosystem and how our services provide value.
  • Become knowledgeable of our clients' business processes and how they utilize our payment services.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
  • Bridge the gap between technical staff and customers during incidents and implementation of changes.
  • Support applications in Linux environments and troubleshoot network, database, and system issues.
  • Use scripting skills to generate reports based on contractual requirements, work requests, and incidents.
  • Manipulate SQL queries and shell scripts to provide business and impact analysis.
  • Investigate and identify root causes of incidents and problems.
  • Quickly gauge the scope and criticality of impacts or potential impacts from incidents and changes.
  • Work closely with technical support teams and Customer Support to ensure incidents and work requests are closed out.
  • Review and identify areas for improvement within documented procedures.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard monitoring and ticketing tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting with Perfmon, Riverbed, or other performance monitoring tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once under duress.
  • Proven technical aptitude and desire to learn.

Additional Information:

  • This is a 24x7 support group with rotating and alternating shifts.
  • Overtime is required as requested to support absences, training, and workload.
  • This is a support role that requires shift work, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
