We are seeking a highly skilled Court Reporter IV to join our team at the Colorado Judicial Branch. As a Court Reporter IV, you will be responsible for providing professional Realtime reporting and transcribing services for court proceedings, hearings, and conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Provides Realtime reporting and transcribing services for court proceedings, hearings, and conferences.
- Manages and maintains records and prioritizes transcript production.
- Prepares required reports and documentation pursuant to Chief Justice Directive 05-03 and local policies and procedures.
- Ensures backup of all stenographic notes, rough drafts, and completed transcripts.
- Assists team members and works on various hearings and/or trials as a team.
- Associate's degree or 2 years of college.
- 1 to 3 years of court reporting experience.
- RPR certification through the NCRA plus meet national standard for Realtime (96% accuracy on one of the applicable exams).
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
