School Psychologist Job Description

At Soliant, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team in the Manchester, CT area. This is a full-time, onsite position for the upcoming school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address behavioral, emotional, and academic issues.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend interventions.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding effective instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CT School Psychologist license
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred
