Job Title: Senior Digital Design Verification Engineer

Job Summary:

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design verification team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing verification strategies for our next-generation optical and electrical data center connectivity products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement verification strategies for ASIC design verification
  • Design and develop verification environments using System Verilog and UVM
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure verification coverage and quality
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Work with engineers to resolve verification issues and improve design quality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 8+ years of experience in ASIC design verification or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience in ASIC design verification
  • Deep knowledge of System Verilog, UVM, and verification coverage matrix
  • Experience in developing checkers, scoreboards, and writing assertions
  • Prior experience with ARM core, APB/AHB bus protocol, Serial peripherals, SRAM integration, and generating randomized vectors for analog and digital behavioral model verification
  • Hands-on experience with standard industry EDA tools - Synopsys/Cadence
  • Working knowledge of Assembly, C, and C++ languages and use in embedded systems
  • Experience with GLS with and without parasitic annotated simulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak to various technical and management levels
  • Proactive, collaborative, and creative approach to innovation, technical development, and consensus facilitation to influence optimal project results
  • Excellent time and task management, and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,800 - $178,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
