Job Description:

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Verification Engineer to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and verifying complex digital circuits for our next-generation optical and electrical data center connectivity products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and verify digital circuits using System Verilog, UVM, and verification coverage matrix
  • Develop checkers, scoreboards, and write assertions to ensure circuit functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital circuits with analog and mixed-signal components
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, testbenches, and test cases
  • Work with engineers to resolve design and verification issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 8+ years of experience in ASIC Design Verification or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience in ASIC Design Verification
  • Deep knowledge of System Verilog, UVM, and verification coverage matrix
  • Experience in developing checkers, scoreboards, and writing assertions
  • Familiarity with ARM core, APB/AHB bus protocol, Serial peripherals (e.g., I2C, SPI), SRAM integration
  • Hands-on knowledge of standard industry EDA tools - Synopsys/Cadence
  • Working knowledge of Assembly, C, and C++ languages and use in embedded systems
  • Experience with GLS with and without parasitic annotated simulations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak to various technical and management levels
  • Proactive, collaborative, and creative approach to innovation, technical development, and consensus facilitation to influence optimal project results
  • Excellent time and task management, and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range: $106,800 - $178,000
  • Discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents
  • Equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements
