Overview:

Intellect Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Congressional Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our defense sector solutions group, you will provide critical support to the research and response to congressional inquiries directed to the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

About the Role:

This role involves analyzing complex congressional inquiries, drafting official correspondence, coordinating with agency stakeholders, and maintaining a database of inquiries. You will also brief leadership on program status and coordinate inquiry close-out and follow-up actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex congressional inquiries and draft official correspondence
  • Coordinate with agency stakeholders and maintain a database of inquiries
  • Brief leadership on program status and coordinate inquiry close-out and follow-up actions
  • Provide critical support to the research and response to congressional inquiries

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working in a relevant professional environment
  • Proficient in technical writing with the ability to draft accurate, clear, and concise written materials
  • Strong knowledge or background in revenue cycle management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Experience working with the DoD/DHA or other government agency
  • Experience with policy writing and/or regulatory compliance management
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks with minimal direction
  • Self-starter that excels in fast-paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with agency leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
