Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyze records relevant to court cases.
  • Draft legal opinions, orders, and judgments with precision.
  • Assist the court in the editing and dissemination of judicial opinions.
  • Support the preparation of jury instructions for court proceedings.
  • Provide updates to the court regarding recent legal developments and case law.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the court.
Qualifications

Education: Candidates must possess an advanced degree from an accredited law school.

Skills: Exceptional research and writing capabilities are essential. Experience with Law Review is preferred, and familiarity with Westlaw is required.

Licensure: Applicants must be a member of the Kentucky Bar Association or actively pursuing admission.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based, with potential travel requirements as necessary.
