About the Role

The Shift Supervisor Trainee is an entry-level position that prepares individuals for higher-level supervisory roles within the company. This training program equips participants with essential operations and management skills, as well as knowledge about key aspects of the business and CVS/pharmacy culture.

As a Shift Supervisor Trainee, you will work closely with store management and crews to ensure seamless store operations. You will be responsible for supervising the store's crew, assigning tasks, directing activities, and following up on performance. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with their queries, and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management:
    • Work effectively with store management and store crews
    • Supervise the store's crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities
    • Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
  • Customer Service:
    • Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
    • Promote CVS customer service culture
    • Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers
    • Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills. Advanced communication skills are also essential. Experience in retail is preferred, but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is also preferred but not necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $16.75 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
