Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NGS Laboratory Technician/Scientist/Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day NGS experiments, including sample preparation, library preparation, and instrument operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computer-based laboratory systems, record data, and perform laboratory tests.
  • Perform experimental procedures using molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA isolation, Quantification, NGS library construction, and sequencing.
  • Prepare solutions, reagents, and stains according to standard laboratory formulas and procedures.
  • Oversee equipment performance and maintenance schedules, and perform routine repair or replacement of standard parts.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order materials, and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot problematic samples and results, and communicate effectively with clients and co-workers to improve existing processes.
  • Adapt to new services and technologies to enhance sales, and train and guide new team members and subordinates.
  • Write and update protocols that meet CLIA/CAP/ISO standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biology or a relevant major.
  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory work experience, preferably in molecular biology and genetics/genomics.
  • Organized and keen attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet timelines.
  • Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus.
