Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Capital Collective at Oglethorpe. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of our properties, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist in coverage of emergency calls and respond to after-hours requests as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license required; EPA HVAC certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn new software and systems
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
