Job Summary:
BFS Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a tanker truck to deliver fuel products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
- Load and unload fuel products from the tanker truck, using valves and pumps as necessary.
- Record and report delivery quantities, and issue receipts to customers.
- Perform routine maintenance on the tanker truck, including washing and light repairs.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including shipping documents and hours of service reports.
- Stay up-to-date on Department of Transportation regulations and procedures for transporting hazardous materials.
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older.
- Commercial driver's license with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb up to 15 feet.
