Job Summary:

BFS Companies is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive tank trucks to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas to customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  2. Perform pre- and post-trip visual inspections of vehicles to ensure road worthiness.
  3. Load and unload products from tank trucks, following safety protocols and procedures.
  4. Record quantity loaded and delivered, and issue tickets to customers.
  5. Perform daily maintenance of bulk plants and light maintenance on trucks, including washing and cleaning.
  6. Complete required paperwork, including shipping papers and hours of duty reports.
  7. Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding commercial motor vehicle operation, hazardous material transportation, and emergency response.

Requirements:

  1. 21 years of age.
  2. Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement.
  3. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  4. Ability to climb up to 15 feet.
