About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, providing support for installing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections to identify potential problems and make repairs.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use established procedures to tackle straightforward problems and share information in a clear, concise manner.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Interpersonal skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
