Endoscopy Technician-Medical Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Technician-Medical Assistant to join our team at Quadrant. As an Endoscopy Technician-Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical team in the gastroenterology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist providers with patient care and procedures, including rooming patients and obtaining vitals.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Clean and disinfect endoscopy equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Maintain daily equipment logs and update patient records as needed.
  • Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.
  • Assist with procedures, including collecting specimens and reviewing discharge instructions with patients.
  • Participate in infection control programs and perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of clinical experience as an Endoscopy Tech or Medical Assistant.
  • Some GI experience is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
