Job Overview

Position Summary:
Vyve Broadband is a prominent provider of broadband Internet services, primarily catering to rural communities across multiple states. As a leader in the cable and broadband industry, we offer a comprehensive suite of services including high-speed Internet, digital television, and voice solutions for both residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by representing Vyve in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Address and resolve complex customer inquiries and issues.
  • Exhibit a strong enthusiasm for promoting Vyve's products and services.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain and generate departmental reports as necessary.
  • Act as a mentor to fellow team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Perform all duties associated with a Retail Sales Agent, including:
    • Initiating customer interactions to sell services, address concerns, and provide information.
    • Clearly explaining billing processes and company policies.
    • Identifying customer needs and educating them on service options.
    • Accurately documenting sales and order activities in the online system.
    • Processing customer payments and balancing daily transactions in accordance with cash management protocols.
    • Managing collections for overdue accounts.
    • Maintaining integrity while accessing customer records and account histories.
    • Issuing and tracking customer-premise equipment.
    • Troubleshooting service-related issues and testing equipment.
    • Engaging with customers regarding company offerings.
    • Fostering a positive team environment through cooperative behavior.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or sales, with direct consumer interaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in navigating various software applications without becoming overwhelmed.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer navigation.
  • Competence in using computers, keyboards, and software applications.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bi-lingual candidates preferred.
