Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic electroencephalograph testing, attaching and operating electrodes, and reviewing patient records.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic electroencephalograph testing to assess brain function
  • Attach and connect electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electroencephalograph machine
  • Review patient records and instruct patients prior to procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal findings
  • Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation
  • Maintain EEG equipment and supplies
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
  • Electroencephalographic Technician credential from ABRET preferred
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
