Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workflow processes, including verification and labeling/packaging of medications
  • Assess medication orders for appropriateness and completeness
  • Adhere to federal and state pharmacy regulations
  • Perform all duties with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Maintain necessary licenses and certifications in good standing
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy; three years preferred
  • Valid New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License required
  • Familiarity with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack is a plus
  • Positive demeanor with strong teamwork skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Capable of resolving issues and troubleshooting within the pharmacy

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to endure long hours of computer work and desk tasks
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of an eight-hour shift
