Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team. As a key member of our caregiving staff, you will provide day-to-day support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries (ABI or TBI). Your primary responsibility will be to assist and/or teach these individuals various aspects of personal care, household maintenance, meal preparation, and shopping, while promoting their independence and autonomy.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $20.50 per hour without MAP certification and $21.50 per hour with MAP certification. Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or ABI/TBI, assisting and/or teaching them various aspects of personal care, household maintenance, meal preparation, and shopping.
  • Administer medications (or support self-medication) in accordance with residential guidelines.
  • Follow routines of the individuals, including behavior support plans, personal care, physical therapy, etc.
  • Accompany individuals on appointments as needed.
Requirements
  • 18+ years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License & Good Driving Record
