Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in optimizing patient care by providing safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including drug dispensing and IV admixture program management
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff
• Staying up-to-date with the latest medical programs, technologies, and best practices in pharmacy

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• An active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
• Other applicable state requirements, such as sterile compounding certification
• BLS & ALS/ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue)

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

• A Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
• One (1) year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
