We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Experience Ambassador (Activities Assistant) to join our team at Experience Senior Living. As a key member of our Resident Experience team, you will play a vital role in creating a engaging and inclusive environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate social activities, games, crafts, cooking, movies, outings, and outdoor events to promote resident engagement and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Resident Experience team to develop and implement new and exciting activities, and encourage resident participation.
- Assist in creating and adjusting the Resident Experience plan for each resident, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Document resident attendance and interactions using Lifeloop, and identify and report any concerns that may impact resident participation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, treating residents with respect and integrity, and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- May drive the company van or vehicle for various reasons, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in organizing activities or event planning is preferred.
- One to two years of experience working with seniors is preferred.
- Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and ability to use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to think creatively and independently.
