Position Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering quality care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Key Highlights

- Department: Neuro/Ortho
- Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Night shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM), with a variable schedule including every other weekend and 50% of holidays.

Core Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in accordance with the directives of registered nurses or physicians, adhering to the scope of your licensure.
- Assist in patient assessments and ensure their overall well-being.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Conduct laboratory tests and provide therapeutic services as needed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, and available resources for follow-up care.
Qualifications
Licensure/Certification:
- Current BLS Provider certification required within one month of hire.
- Licensed Practical Nurse credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing required prior to employment.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent, or one year of relevant experience.
- Professional licensure/certification may substitute for education or experience where applicable.
