Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

MediLodge of Westwood is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for coordinating and providing nursing care to residents, supervising and guiding clinical staff members, and ensuring that all care is delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and provide nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing treatments.
  • Supervise and direct junior staff members and CNAs, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Document resident conditions and nursing needs, and accurately implement physicians' orders.
  • Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel, and ensure that supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
  • Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents, and coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
  • Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • One year experience in nursing preferred.
