Job Title: Sterilization Technician

At Orthodontic Experts Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our medical and laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for sterilization and monitor equipment to ensure proper sterilization cycles.
  • Maintain and document sterilizer performance, alarms, and other sterilization-related activities.
  • Inspect and test sterilized instruments to ensure they meet requirements for sterility.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of sterilizers, disassemble, clean, and reassemble instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
  • Prepare supplies for sterilization and maintain sterilization supply inventory.
  • Monitor expiration dates on supplies and record sterilization data and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Provide quality assurance and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with taking x-rays, photos, and scans, and set up and turn over chairs for assistants.
Requirements:
  • Working hours: Monday - Wednesday 8:45am - 5:00pm, Thursday - Friday 6:45am - 3:00pm, 2 Saturdays per month.
  • Location: 1010 S Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60006.
  • Pay: $16.00 per hour.
